Intelligent Systems Engineering

Intelligent Systems Engineering prepares engineers for the world of tomorrow. The program is unique and interdisciplinary, fostering collaborative research among engineers and scientists from a wide variety of disciplines.

Our B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. programs in intelligent systems engineering take an innovative approach to engineering—and they're looking for students who are ready to be innovative, too. We know you’re looking at the big picture, and you are already envisioning a brighter future through problem solving with technology. You want to bring solutions to life, and our ISE programs, including our accelerated M.S. in ISE, will give you the skills to change the world.

Our students will also help define the next generation of personalized health devices, protein engineering, autonomous mobile computing platforms, pollutant-measuring drones, replacements for damaged areas of the brain, and more.

Earn a B.S. in Intelligent Systems Engineering.

Earn a M.S. or Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems Engineering. You can choose among six tracks:

  • Bioengineering
  • Computer engineering
  • Cyber-physical systems
  • Environmental engineering
  • Molecular and nanoscale engineering
  • Neuroengineering

Whether you want to develop new products and conduct research in industry or government labs, or conduct research and teach in academia, your first step is to learn more about our program.
