Name an Auditorium Chair
The flagship 160 seat auditorium in Luddy Hall is designed for collaboration using stunning technology. As a young school with a rich history, our students should know that alumni have their back.
For $1,000, with flexible payment plans of up to five years, you can name a seat in our auditorium. Donors will be recognized with a nameplate honoring you or your chosen honoree.
For more information, complete the form below. A member of our Alumni Relations & Development team will be in contact within two business days.

Your Questions. Our Answers.
What can I include on the nameplate?
Whatever you would like (within reason)! We recommend including your formal name, degree, and class year (Jordan Garcia, MS '99) or honoring a favorite professor/staff member. This is also a great opportunity to pay tribute to a loved one and engrave a nameplate to read "In memory of..." Our development staff will work with you to ensure the nameplate fulfills your wishes.
Will I be informed the location of my chair?
Yes! Later in the construction project, we will be sure to let you know where your chair and nameplate is located in the auditorium.
For what purposes is the auditorium used?
The space is used by all programs of the School - computer science, informatics, information science, intelligent systems engineering, and library science - for classes, guest lectures, and more.
What are the payment plans?
We have flexible gift plans that work with your philanthropic budget. Each chair is named in recognition of a gift of $1,000 or more, which may be paid in installments over up to five years. Below are a few options for payment plans. Complete the form above to contact the Alumni Relations & Development office for additional options.
Automatic Monthly Gift (Charged to Credit Card): $16.67 for 60 Months/5 Years
Yearly Gift: $200 each year for 5 Years
One-Time Installment: $1,000 Payable Now
Want to pay your gift off in fewer than 5 years? We can create a shorter payment plan.
When do I have to decide?
This exciting opportunity is limited to 160 chairs on a first-come, first-served basis. Luddy Hall opened in 2018 with lots of interest in this project. Establish your pledge soon to reserve one of the remaining seats!
