Connect with our Students

SICE Career Services offers multiple ways for employers to connect with our students. Each offers a great opportunity to build your brand on campus.

  • Tech Talks

    Tech Talks

Host a Tech Talk and speak to students about tech-related topics and industry trends, informing our students about the up-to-the-minute happenings of the tech world.

Employers interested in hosting a tech talk may request a date and time in SICE Careers.

  • Information Sessions

    Information Sessions

Employers interested in hosting information sessions may request a date and time in SICE Careers.

  • Employer Panels

    Employer Panels

Participate in an employer panel in one of our introductory Computer Science or Informatics courses to help students learn more about your industry and company. Informing students about the many options available to them is one of the best ways to increase the tech talent pipeline.

For more information, or to sign up to be on an employer panel, please contact Kendallyn Thummel.

  • Mock Interview Day

    Mock Interview Day

Serve as an interviewer for Mock Interview Day to help students practice and refine their interviewing skills. Mock Interview Day is a great opportunity for you to provide real job interview experiences and feedback to our students, and it is a great way to promote your organization, increase campus visibility, and cultivate potential future candidates.

If you would like to participate in Mock Interview Day, please contact Ellen Rodkey.

  • Resume Blitz

    Resume Blitz

Help students craft a resume that will connect with employers. Share your best practices and get to know our students better.

Resume Blitz is held each semester on the day prior to the Career Fair. For more information, contact Ellen Rodkey.

  • Employer Site Visits

    Employer Site Visits

Employer site visits are essentially on-site information sessions at a specific employer's office. The site visit program allows companies to highlight and market their organization to SICE students.  During the visit, employers/alumni typically describe their organizations, discuss various career opportunities and their recruiting processes, offer tours and allow exchanges of information between participants and company employees.

If you are interested in hosting a site visit for SICE students, please contact Ellen Rodkey.

  • Case Competitions

    Case Competitions

Want to host a large-scale event for SICE students? Consider hosting a case competition open to all SICE students. This highly desirable option is a great way to increase your brand on campus and connect with most of our in-demand students. Because of the time-intensive nature of these events, SICE hosts two each year. Employers interested in this option should contact Jodie Sackley about reserving a date as soon as possible.

  • Connect with Student Organizations

    Collaborate with Student Organizations

The SICE is home to several student organizations that each have a unique purpose and membership. Check out our student organizations and contact them to find unique ways to engage with our students. Student organizations often seek employer partners for events and will work with you to create an event that best works for you. If you are interested in connecting with a student organization, please begin with Jodie Sackley. She will assist you in connecting with the best groups and representatives to meet your needs.
