Web Portfolios

Your work as an informatics or computer science student is likely too complex for a typical resume. A web portfolio is an excellent way to introduce prospective employers to who you are, the projects you have worked on during your degree program, and your practical experience.

Your portfolio should include:

  • An “About Me” section with your photo and a brief description of your background and career goals
  • A resume that prospective employers can download
  • A “Projects” section that highlights work you’ve done in classes, independently, and at previous internships and jobs
