B547 Systems and Protocol Security and Information Assurance

Prerequisite(s): Some previous programming background and general computer networking and operating systems literacy.

This course covers the design and analysis of secure systems, including identifying security goals and risks, threat modeling, defense, integrating different technologies to achieve security goals, developing security protocols and policies, implementing security protocols and secure coding. Some real world scenarios that have many security requirements will be studied.
