Indiana University undergraduate students, with a strong STEM background, can enroll in the accelerated master’s program. Students can apply 12 credits of graduate-level courses toward both their bachelor’s and master’s plans of study. The remaining 18 credit hours can be completed in the next year.
Students in this program need to have a solid foundation in STEM coursework; specifically, they should have experience in the following:

It is recommended that students apply before their seventh semester. Students should meet with an academic advisor before application. Statement of purpose, letters of recommendation and GRE requirements are waived for current IU students.
Any masters-level courses taken during the first eight semesters will be charged at the undergraduate level. Students will be charged at the graduate level in semesters nine and ten.
Scholarships are available to students, and no separate applications are necessary.
