Children's and Young Adult Specialization in Master of Library Science
Libraries have a tremendous impact on children and young adults. By working in children’s and young adult services, you can instill a lifelong love of reading, introduce young people to new information and ideas, and make a difference in lives and communities.
The Children’s and Young Adult Services Specialization for the Master of Library Science prepares you to work in public libraries, and also in special libraries in parks, zoos, gardens, and other places with an outreach mission that includes children and their families.
