A talk from Stanford University Music and Computer Science Professor and Designer Ge Wang on The Humanist Engineer

Ge Wang, an associate professor of music and computer science at Stanford, discusses what it means to be a humanist engineer. Wang specializes in the art of computer music design and will demonstrate his music. Get a feel for his presentation by checking out one of his past TED Talks.

The Cheng Wu Innovation Challenge supports students in developing technological innovations unconstrained by immediate consideration of the commercial potential of the innovations. Student presentations will showcase the innovation that's happening at SICE.

Unveiling of Amatria
Fourth Floor of Luddy Hall

World-renowned architect Philip Beesley has created a custom sentient art installation for Luddy Hall that will be installed on the fourth-floor ceiling and will be visible from the bottom of the grand staircase. A group of IU students are working with Beesley on the installation. Check out his TED Talk on building living architecture.
