SLIS alumna Michelle Dalmau (MIS/MLS '04) is featured in a recent Library Journal (LJ) article about women and library technology. In the article, "The Women Who Drive Library Technology" (May 1, 2007 issue), Dalmau is described as a "new hybrid" librarian who "step into technology leadership roles in libraries." In discussing her interest in usability, she stated, "I soon realized I was a closet librarian. I was interested in representing and organizing collections online as I was in understanding the user experience."
Dalmau was also featured in the March 15 issue of LJ Movers & Shakers. She is the Digital Projects and Usability Librarian for IU Digital Library Program.
