Börner is the Victor H. Yngve Associate Professor of Information Science at SLIS. She is the Director of both the Information Visualization Lab and the Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center. Hardy is a Graphic Designer with both the Lab and the Center. Since March 2008, she has been the co-curator with Börner of the Places & Spaces exhibit.
The Seed Magazine staff members were interested in current and upcoming projects by Börner's InfoVis Lab and CNS Center. One item discussed was the 5th iteration of the Places & Spaces exhibit that will be launched later this spring at Stanford University.
