Internal Medicine Associates Website Redesign Project
Margaret Swan, Michelle Cooper, Kevin Mauer, Anna Kaziunas
Created in: L577: Design of Information Systems
Faculty sponsor: Dr. Howard Rosenbaum
We carried out a three stage analysis of the IMA website and a website redesign, working with IMA's technical team. After a hardware-software analysis, a sociotechnical analysis of the site, and an information architecture analysis, we developed a high level redesign of the site. The goal was to deliver a redesign they could implement given their current budgetary and human resource constraints. The full report is available (as a link to the prototype pages) at: http://ella.slis.indiana.edu/g/L577ima/home.html

Code Library for Large Scale Network Analysis
Shashikant Penumarthy and Ketan Mane
Created in: L597: Structural Data Mining and Modeling
Faculty sponsor: Dr. Katy Brner
We present a system for large scale network analysis. It consists of a code library and the associated Web-interface. The code library is programmed in Java with Perl-CGI for the front-end. The underlying classes and methods are written in a manner so as to facilitate easy extension of the library. Users upload a network in one of the specified format, the network is analyzed and the user recieves an email with a pointer to the results when the analysis is completed.
