Call for Proposals: IUPUI University Library and SLIS Joint Conference
All SLIS MLS and MIS students are strongly encouraged to submit proposals for the 3rd Annual IUPUI University Library and SLIS Joint Conference. This year a variety of proposals are being accepted.
• Types of Proposals to Submit
You may submit proposals for either paper or poster presentation, deadline for submissions January 31, 2013.
• Conference Information and Submission Form
While this year’s keynote speaker is a health sciences librarian, proposals are being accepted on any topic to library and information science.
This is a good opportunity for students to present in a safe environment, to network with professional librarians and to discuss issues critical to the field.
You do not have to present in order to attend. All are invited. It is free and lunch is provided.
Registration is open until March 8.
Please note that December graduates are eligible to participate as well.
Any questions, please contact Andrea Copeland, ajapzon@iupui.edu. Thanks and I look forward to reading your proposals.
